Lord of Life is more than just a place for Sunday worship — we’re open over 80 hours each week to serve our community in countless ways. While other churches may be quiet during the week, our doors — and hearts — are always open.

Recently, a young mother, overwhelmed by a cancer diagnosis, walked into Lord of Life in tears. She didn’t know where else to go. Pastor David welcomed her, listened with compassion, prayed over her, and gathered a team to lay hands on her in prayer. She left knowing she wasn't alone — and that God’s love lives here.

And that’s possible because of you.

🌟 Celebrating 50 Years of Giving Back

In 2023, to mark our 50th Anniversary, Lord of Life raised $50,000 to bless our community.
These funds were distributed to:

• Family Promise of Anoka County – Supporting families experiencing homelessness

• Youth First – Offering safe spaces and caring adults for local youth

• HOPE4YOUTH – Helping young people facing homelessness

• ACBC Food Shelf – Feeding those in need

• Toys for Joy – Bringing Christmas cheer to kids who might otherwise go without

Did you know over 40 middle and high school students gather weekly through our Kids in Confirmation (KIC) and Big Church Kids (BCK) programs?
While Sundays may look quiet, on Wednesdays the building is alive with laughter, learning, and heartfelt conversations about life, faith, and following Jesus.

Many churches have scaled back youth ministry — but not Lord of Life. We are deeply committed to nurturing today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders of faith and community. And it’s your gifts that make it happen.

🧵 Wrapping the World in Love — One Quilt at a Time

Since 2005, Stitch, Study & Share has been creating and giving away hundreds of quilts — baby quilts for crisis nurseries, prayer quilts for the ill and grieving, and baptism quilts for children and adults.

These quilts are tangible reminders of God's love, and your stewardship keeps this ministry sewing strong — offering warmth, comfort, and prayer across the globe.

👟 Health, Healing & Hospitality | Monday - Thursday

Monday - Thursday| 8:00–9:00 am, the halls of Lord of Life are filled with footsteps and friendship.
Our indoor walking group brings members and neighbors together to stay healthy, followed by coffee, treats, and conversation in the library.

For over 20 years, Alcoholics Anonymous has met at Lord of Life every single week. That’s more than 1,500 hours of support for people battling addiction — at no cost to them.
