Vacation Bible School at Lord of Life

Each summer, Lord of Life is filled with laughter, energy, music, learning, and the excitement of children growing in faith together. This year’s Road Trip VBS was no exception!

Over four incredible days, more than 130 children from Lord of Life and Grace Lutheran came together for an unforgettable adventure centered on the promise from Joshua 1:9: “The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Through Bible stories, music, games, crafts, science activities, and hands-on learning, kids discovered that God's love travels with them—at home, at school, on the playground, and wherever life takes them.

One of the greatest gifts of VBS is the sense of community it creates. New friendships were formed, old friendships grew stronger, and children experienced the joy of belonging. Surrounded by caring volunteers, enthusiastic leaders, and a supportive church family, kids were encouraged to ask questions, explore their faith, and have fun along the way.

VBS is about much more than a week of activities. It is an opportunity for children to experience God's love in a welcoming, safe, and joyful environment. It is a place where faith comes alive through relationships, service, worship, and play.

We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers, youth leaders, staff members, and families who helped make this week possible. Their time, creativity, and dedication created an experience that will leave a lasting impact on the children who attended.
